Ohio River Sweep
2000 is scheduled for Saturday, October 7, from 9:00 A.M. until Noon.
This year's cleanup was postponed from June 17 due to high water and
rain.
Collection sites
for volunteers will remain the same. They include:

- Juniper
Beach
- Cox
Park
- Eva
Bandman Park
- Riverwalk
(10th and Main St.)

Park at Market St.
- Shawnee
Park at Broadway
- Chickasaw
Park
- Lake
Dreamland
- Greenwood
Road Boat Dock

Volunteers can
preregister by calling MSD at 540-6366 or can register at one of the
collection sites on Sweep Day. Each volunteer will be provided with
plastic garbage bags and a commemorative T-Shirt.
