FLASH FLOOD WARNING!

A heavy isolated thunderstorm moved into the central portion of Louisville and Jefferson County at approximately 12:30 PM.

Areas hit hardest include: Fern Creek; Buechel; Newburg; Highlands; Camp Taylor; and the Indian Hills area.

Between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM between 1.50 inches and 2.70 inches of rain has fallen in these areas.

Street and viaduct flooding and flooding at low bridge crossings has occurred. Motorists and pedestrians should be warned to stay out of standing water.
