The
2003 River Sweep, scheduled for Saturday, June 21, has been
postponed due to high water and swift currents on the Ohio River.
Recent heavy rains in the Ohio Valley are raising the river level
rapidly and would present a safety hazard to volunteers.
The Sweep has
been rescheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2003.
Please assist
MSD in announcing this change in date. Collection sites will
remain the same for the next date. |
