Rain Garden and Rain Barrel Installation

On Saturday, April 15th, 9:00 A.M. through 2:00 P.M., MSD and the Belknap Neighborhood are partnering to install a rain garden and rain barrels in the front yards of 1850 and 1852 Harvard Drive. A neighborhood party of "sidewalk supervisors" along with exhibits of native plants and plenty of plant-lover networking will take place in the backyard.

The Belknap Neighborhood Association is working with MSD to urge residents to disconnect downspouts and either direct the rain water into a rain garden or store the water in a rain barrel for later use. You are welcome to see how one neighborhood is turning a wet problem into a dry solution.
