MSD conducts project and program meetings in the community on a
regular basis. In fact, MSD has conducted over 150 such meetings in
neighborhoods throughout the city and county this year.

approved a plan to build 42 miles of sewer throughout southwest
Jefferson County.

Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District has selected four
Kentucky businesses and an MSD employee as DiverseWorks Champions for

a storm drain stenciling program within the Ohio River Watershed. The
purpose of the program is to increase stormwater and environmental
awareness.

Re: Flash Flood Warning
Since approximately 5:00 A.M. this morning, a line of thunderstorms have
tracked across the metro Louisville area. Hourly rain rates in some
locations have exceeded two inches per hour.

The 13th annual Ohio
River Sweep is set for Saturday, June 15, from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
More than 15,000 volunteers from Pittsburgh to Cairo, Illinois will
pick up trash and debris along 1,800 miles of riverbank. Six states
and 72 counties are represented.
