Board Meeting Summary
Mr. Dallenbach announced that
today is his last day as Board chair because he was not reappointed to
the MSD Board.
Mr. Schardein reported on the
following:
- Letters received
complimenting Mr. Schardein and MSD staff on their efforts in
getting drainage and other issues resolved.
- Silver Peak Performance
Award presented to MSD's Morris Forman Wastewater Treatment Plant by
the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) in
recognition of its consistent National Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System permit compliance during the calendar year 2005.
- Kentucky Tennessee Water
Environment Association Operational Excellence Award presented to
MSD for Continued Outstanding Operation of the Morris Forman
Wastewater Treatment Plant during the period January 1, 2005 to
December 31, 2005 for two consecutive years.
Ms. Beverly Wheatley was
elected Chairperson and Mr. Audwin Helton was elected Vice Chairman.
