Board Meeting Summary
Reports
- Ms. Kirk presented an
update report on the 2006 flood relief program reimbursement claims
that have been processed to date.
- Mr. Schardein reported
on the PRSA Landmarks of Excellence Award for the 2005 Annual Report
in Writing: Annual Reports Brochures & Special Publications category
presented to MSD. Mr. Schardein recognized the committee members:
Pat Kirk, Becky Bennett, Linda Bronner, Julie Buckler, Angie
Johnston, Kevin Kaufman, Loren Levitz, Loyiso Melisizwe, Paul Meyer,
Dana Price, Diane Secor, and Sheryl Lauder of Lauder Creative
Services.
- Ms. Wheatley reported
that Mr. Schardein was inducted into the Communicator Hall of Fame
in October and the honor was presented by the Public Relations
Society of America, Bluegrass Chapter, and the International
Association of Business Communicators, Kentucky Chapter at the
annual Landmarks of Excellence Awards event.
- Mr. Schardein reported
on the Emergency Procurement Report, Contract No. 06-2007, 34
Arrowhead Emergency Repairs project.
