Meeting Summary
- Mr. Schardein reported on the Calendar
of Events
- Mr. Schardein complemented the snow
removal team for their cooperative efforts with Louisville Metro to
clear roadways during the recent snow storm.
- Mr. Schardein referenced that our focus
is now on the river. Currently, the river is 20.5 feet and is expected
to crest tomorrow. In preparation, MSD has activated five flood pumping
stations.
- Mr. Schardein recognized Saeed Assef and
Angela Akridge for their Louisville Chapter KSPE awards for Outstanding
Achievement in Government and Outstanding Contribution to Leadership PE,
respectively. Additionally, Daymond Talley was recognized for his 2008
Outstanding African American Catholic Leadership Award.
