May 12, 2008 Board Meeting Summary

Mr. Schardein announced the second round of Project WIN meetings scheduled for the month of May. He also advised that one meeting will be held here at MSD’s main office on Wednesday, May 14th at 11:00 a.m. for anyone interested in attending.

Mr. Schardein also distributed a letter to each Board member that he sent to Senator McConnell and other Kentucky congressional constituents in regards to the recently signed resolution that allows for improvements to the Louisville Metro flood protection system. Mr. Schardein commended Board member, Mr. Celentano for his recommendation to execute the resolution.

Mr. Bates reported on an Emergency Procurement for WO#5186519, Project: MFWTP Boiler Cross Connect Line/ACCO.
