May 27, 2008 Board Meeting Summary

Mr. Schardein pointed out that there are three remaining Project WIN meetings and these will wrap up our spring session.

Mr. Schardein announced that Rene’ Thomas has been promoted to Purchasing Manager; Saeed Assef received his award from the Kentucky Society of Engineers in government. Both were recognized by the Board.

The following were approved:

• May 12, 2008, MSD Board Meeting Minutes
• Fiscal Year 2009 Operating Budget and 2008 Preliminary Rate Resolution
• Fats, Oils, and Grease Policy, Guidelines and Design Specifications; Preliminary approval of revised MSD Wastewater/Stormwater Discharge Regulations and Enforcement Response Plan
• Exceptionally Achieves Performance Ratings

• Golden Foods Recommendation
