August 24, 2009 Board Meeting Summary

Mr. Schardein recognized the Fleet Services personnel for their Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. ASE recognizes businesses that have 75% of its technicians ASE certified and a certified technician in each area of service offered. MSD’s Fleet Services has 100% of their staff certified and collectively have a total of 191 ASE Certifications which exceed the requirements. Congratulations to:

Mr. Schardein commended Infrastructure & Flood Protection, Morris Forman and Metro Operations for coming in under budget this past fiscal year.

Mr. Flynn presented the emergency procurement report for Paddy’s Run Flood Pump Station #2, #5 and #6 Pump Controls and #5 Pump Repair.
