Self-Inspection of EPSC Controls on Capital Projects

Effective June 1, 2001, MSD Contractor's are to perform self-inspections of EPSC measures on all MSD Capital Projects. This will not affect projects under construction on that date, but will include all projects sent out to bid on or after June 1.

Special Provision's must be modified on all affected MSD Capital Projects to reflect this change. In addition, the engineer should modify self-inspection form to reflect the specifics of the project. The modified form should include only those measures that will be used on the project and should be part of the Special Provision for self-inspection. Copies will be required to be submitted with each pay estimate.
