Non-Flooding Problems

Building Flooding:
Standing Water This includes water that does not drain after a rain, or drains too slowly.
Erosion (Outside Easement) This includes erosion occurring on private property.  This type of erosion typically would occur closer to existing infrastructure than erosion in right-of-way or easement.   Therefore, private erosion could pose a greater threat to cause property damage than public erosion.
Erosion (Inside Easement) This includes erosion within right-of-way or easement that could be result in damage to existing infrastructure or pose a future threat to private property.
Sedimentation This is defined as sediment build-up in the storm drainage system resulting in diminishing system capacity.
Sanitary Inflow Source Surface water flooding over the top of sanitary sewers.  This could occur in easements or in right-of-way and result in inflow to the sanitary sewers.
Street Flooding:
Major Arterial Road This includes flooding of an interstate type of road.
Minor Arterial Road This includes major road or County Through Road flooding.
Primary Street This includes primary access street flooding.
Subdivision Street This includes local neighborhood type road flooding.
Yard Flooding: This is defined as surface water flooding onto private property.  This does not include flooding of easements or right-of-way.

Customer Involvement and Constructability

Drainage Requests Resolved This is a count of drainage requests currently active (prior to the beginning of the Study Area) which will be resolved by the proposed solution.  While a parcel of property may be associated with numerous requests, the parcel represents one customer and should be counted as such.
Other Problems Resolved This includes problems, identified in the field visits, which will be resolved by the proposed solution.  While a parcel of property may be associated with numerous requests, the parcel represents one customer and should be counted as such.
Constructability Constructability will be rated from 0 to 5.  This rating will be based on the anticipated degree of difficulty and therefore effort and expense that may be associated with the construction of the proposed project.  A rating of 0 would indicate that major problems are anticipated with the project.  A rating of 5 would indicate that no major issues are expected to affect construction.  This rating should be based on, but not necessarily limited to, the factors shown below:
Permits
Regional Benefits
Natural Solutions
Accessibility
Disturbance
Sewers
Potential Wetlands
Easements
Vegetation/Woods
Complexity
