Apportionment Warrants

MSD is offering customers and real estate professionals information pertaining to liens placed on properties in Jefferson County as a result of Sanitary Sewer Assessment Projects.

Information on such liens is kept in an Alphabetical Register pursuant to KRS 76.172(g) available at the Deed Room in the Jefferson County Courthouse or by visiting their Online Records Home Page. In addition, the same information can be obtained using MSD's Apportionment Warrants search page.

Typically, anyone researching for liens on a piece of property would normally know the Tax ID of the property (Tax Block, Lot and Sublot) or its physical location (Street Address). The Tax Block or the street can be utilized to search and find out whether there is a Sewer Lien on the property.

Search results will be displayed online, in a list format. It is only for viewing purposes and it cannot be modified. The information does not include Connection Fee Charges. They are recorded as Mortgages in the County Clerk’s Office.

Amounts displayed do not reflect Payoff Amounts. To obtain a Payoff Amount, please contact the corresponding Warrant Holder listed. If the Warrant Holder is not MSD, please contact the corresponding financial institution; otherwise, you may contact MSD at (502) 587-0603.
