Project Description

 

This project consists of approximately 8,800 LF of 24-inch gravity sewer and a 30-inch micro-tunnel at the Gene Snyder Freeway to provide sanitary sewer service to an unsewered area.

 

 

Need

 

This area is presently unsewered and the residents utilize on-site disposal systems.

 

 

Other Information

The Division of Environmental Health and Protection reported a 27% failure rate of the on-site disposal systems in the Penile/ Welch Road area in 1997.
