Harrods Creek Interceptor Phase II

Customer Service: (502) 587-0603Report as of Wednesday, July 02, 2008

Project Description

This project includes construction of approximately 7,200 linear feet of 24-inch to 36-inch gravity interceptor along Harrods Creek. The interceptor will connect to the upper end of the Harrods Creek Interceptor Phase I near the existing Timberlake WTP and extend up to the existing Hunting Creek South WTP. The flow will be treated at the Morris Forman WTP.

Need

The Hunting Creek South Wastewater Treatment Plant discharges into Harrods Creek. An Agreed Order between MSD and the Division of Water calls for the elimination of the WTP by 2007.

Other Information

Three existing pumping stations may also be eliminated.
