Bancroft Sanitary Sewer Pump Station &

Project Description

The project consists of a 250 GPM raw wastewater pump station and approximately 5,900 LF of 6-inch force main. The pump station will convey wastewater from the City of Bancroft and the surrounding area to the Goose Creek Pump Station. The flow will be treated at the Morris Forman WTP.

Need

This project will eliminate the existing Bancroft Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) and its discharge to Goose Creek. No interceptor sewer is currently planned in this area.

Other Information

In the North County Action Plan (NCAP), the Bancroft Pump Station was proposed to convey wastewater flows from the Goose Creek Interceptor by force main to the Middle Fork Interceptor. However, the Goose Creek Pump Station was constructed upstream at Westport Road to do this. MSD will also be able to eliminate an existing pumping station in Graymoor/Devondale.
