Project Description

 

This project consists of approximately 19,000 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer to convey wastewater to the proposed Upper Muddy Fork Pump Station included in the River Knoll/East Mill Assessment Project (Budget ID 98351). The Upper Muddy Fork Pump Station will discharge into the Ohio River Force Main.

 

 

Need

 

Properties in the project are currently served by on-site wastewater disposal (septic tank) systems. The availability of public sanitary sewers in this region make it desirable to construct gravity sewers and provide service to this area. The property owners in this area must petition MSD for service and vote affirmative for the Guaranteed Maximum Assessment prior to design or construction.

Most of the project area lies within the city of Glenview.
