Project Description

This project consists of pumping facilities to serve the Upper Floyds Fork area near Factory Lane, Old Henry Road and Aiken Road. The conceptual design of the project will involve the construction of a 2.1 MGD (peak flow) pump station and approximately 4,500 LF of 10-inch diameter force main. The collected wastewater is pumped to the No. Beckley Station Road Interceptor (Budget ID #E93354).

Need

This project pumps wastewater from the upper portion of the Floyds Fork Basin located around Factory Lane, Old Henry Road and Aiken Road. This project is expected to serve a present population of 400 and a saturation population of about 12,700.

Other Information

This project is part of the Floyds Fork Action Plan proposed to improve sanitary sewer service in the eastern part of Jefferson County known as the Floyds Fork Watershed, a 120-square mile area named for the stream that runs through it.
