Project Description
Trial of system to optimize dewatering operations at MFWTP. System will monitor multiple inputs to dewatering and make adjustments to equipment that will provide consistent dewatered cake product used in the drying system. The system will also provide an estimated 10% reduction in polymer consumption. | |||
Need
Consistency in dewatering is key to successful drying and Louisville Green production. Consistent drying will produce higher quality Louisville Green allowing greater distribution rates. Polymer pricing and availability will continue to be a primary concern to dewatering as the market is extremely volatile. | |||
Other Information Operational Readiness Test is complete. Evaluation of data underway. Optimization test on hold pending program changes. |
