MFWTP: Acetylene Analyzers for OGA

Project Description

The Acetylene Analyzer project requires two Gas chromatographs in the 3 Oxygen Generation Process Plants at the Morris Forman WTP.

Need

Analyzers will be used to measure the Acetylene and Trace Hydrocarbons levels present in our three Oxygen Generation Process Plants. The first Gas chromatograph (GC) will be use on Oxygen Generation Plants #1 and #2. The second GC will be used on Oxygen Generation Plant #3. The first GC unit will receive a gas stream from each Oxygen plants Liquid Oxygen Storage tank (LOX) tank and will measure the acetylene concentration, the range used will be (0-4ppm) for acetylene measurement. The next acetylene sample gas stream will come from the each plants Cold Box from a location inside the cold box known as the Low Pressure Column;
