Project Description

 

Modifications to the SWPS that will allow continued operation during times of high river level. At present, high river levels back up into the pump station, requiring it to be taken off-line and requiring by-pass of flows that would otherwise be pumped.

 

 

Need

 

These modifications will provide a fail-safe overflow structure that protects the neighborhoods around the pump station from flooding and allow the pump station to operate under almost all river levels.
