White-Crowned Sparrow

 

Length: 6.5-7.5 inches Song: A melancholy whistled poor -Wet-chee-zee.
Wingspan: 9.25-10.25 Behavior: Solitary or in pairs. In small family groups after breeding season.
Weight: 1.0 ounce Breeding:  
Habitat: Grassland,Forest edge,Bushes,Mountains Population: Common to family common in woodlands,thickets and wet meadow.
Migration: Northern bird migrant. Feeders: Baby chick scratch and seeds.
Appearance: 2 white wing bars pink to dull yellow bill white super calcium.
Interesting Facts: White-Crowned sparrow nested take 11-14 days to build by A female.
